Soleil started out as a question. As many questions.

How do I navigate these often chaotic, often overwhelming times?

How do I make sense of the raging injustices, the rampant capitalism, the march towards severe climate change, the rise of nationalism, the closing of borders and of hearts?

What words and actions can I and do I choose in the face of it all; what part do I play; what light can I share and shine, as minuscule an atom as I am in a vast, wide, wild ocean?

At the heart of it all, I was searching for answers for how to raise my boys, what to arm them with for that time of letting go.

Love is what I kept coming back to.
